you very welcome, you did real well in quite difficult and challanging conditions. I think time for a little taxi practice and some more figure of eights next time.

Thanks Chris. I'll get some sim time in this week as well, in preparation for more figure of 8's and direction changes. J

I thought you would be at least one lesson ahead having read the flight manual!! try and practise consistant height clockwise and anti-clockwise circuits and smooth takeoffs without ripping it off the ground and advancing the throttle smoothly.

Just like school, but a lot more fun, anyway it gives Chris a chance to settle into his natural teaching role, and your very good at it Chris!

By the way, that was a top tip about switching the 'keep ground in view' on in the sim. J

Hi one of the better ways to learn figures of Eights is to have a center line and to practice the turns on one side of it only, to the left and to the Right without crossing the center line and then the other side in either direction , again without crossing the center line then finally putting the Two circles together, The landings I teach should be learnt correct from day one. Put the model on the patch exactly where you want it to land and takeoff from their. and don't be satisfied till you nail the mark. If you learn to land correctly at the beginning your landings become so much better and precise. and the size of any landing strip becomes sort off irrelevant.

Must stop feeding the monkeys and give them less Bananas. Although, Their are plenty of monkeys out their that need feeding.
